DuPage County Fair This Weekend

posted 07/26/24

DuPage County Fair kicked off on Thursday and will run through Sunday.  The fair is celebrating its 70th anniversary and will be showcasing the biggest Ferris wheel the fair has ever seen.  They will also have the common carnival rides that seasoned fair-goers love as well as kiddie rides for the younger kids.

In the barn, you’ll be able to see the 4-H exhibit which will showcase pics, cows, and other livestock. The goal of 4-H is to teach how livestock develops, how to be a good person and how to take care of animals. There will be several animal shows throughout the weekend.

The musical performances this weekend will include FUZE Band, which is 70’s R&B mixed with Santana, South Side Soul Kings with Motown, Saturday will be Mexican Heritage Day with acts on three stages throughout the day.

New to the fair this year is a drone show.  The show will take place 400 feet in the sky and will last about 15-20 minutes.  The drones are choreographed to music and will be a sight to see.  The show will take place at 10:15 on Friday and Saturday nights.

Children 5 and under and active military personnel are free to enter.  Adults are $12 and seniors and children (6-12) are $8.  A mega pass is also offered everyday which includes entry and unlimited rides for $35 per person.
