Naperville Preschool Earns National Recognition

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) recognizes the top 10% of preschool and kindergarten programs in the United States for meeting national standards of quality in early childhood education.  This year The Gardner School of Naperville has earn this recognition.

To receive accreditation by the NAEYC, school staff and parents of enrolled students participate in a multi-step process of evaluation and quality improvements.  Preschools must meet and surpass a range of criteria within ten program standards including curriculum, staff qualifications, and parent collaboration.

Once accredited, the programs will have random unnanounced visits by assessors to make sure the schools are maintaining the quality standards over a five year period.
